removing convertible rear seats

daft question, but how do you remove the upright part ot the back seat on a 13/60 convertible and do as little damage as possible. Do you drill the centres of the clips on the top out as they appear to be rivets?

Thanks

Yup - they are pop rivets, drill them out carefully and keep the press stud bits as you can reuse them. You will have to adapt a pop-rivert head to refit to make it thin eough to fit inside the pres stud bit but it's only a few mins work with a file :-)

Also be aware that there may be two extra screws down each side of the seatback in the hoodwell-these are shown in the factory manual, and described as 'acme' screws.

They were long gone from mine but the holes were still there....you never know!!
