2009poolesparky
I'm looking to change the original static seat belts to modern inertia ones. Where have people located the reel unit in their cars? Some I've seen are fitted to the wheel arch, but then where does the other two points go? Some photos would be useful. Thanks

RobPearce
Leave them original.I've got inertia belts in the GT6 and they're nothing but trouble. There really isn't anywhere on these cars where you can fit the reel how it wants to be fitted, so it ends up slightly wonky with twisted belt that doesn't sit right on your shoulder. The wonkiness causes the inertia mechanism to lock when you're going for a gear change or looking over the bonnet on a hump-back bridge. A real pain.
