gt6878e
Hi all,Has anyone done any modifications to their wiper motor? Mine went kapput...(managed to get it going from parts off a spare morris minor one i had) But has anyone managed to fit anything else in to do the job?ThanksDarren
Richard B
You can fit the later type round wiper motor if your not fussed about originality.Dave at Canley Classics should be able to supply a recon (exchange) moter, be warned they're not cheap as they fit a TR5! ??) Paudman
Herald version will work, a lot cheaper to buy especially from eBay but while it looks the same you'll only have one speed. A little bit of jiggery-pokery with the wiring connections and it'll perform as the original. In fact, I never use the second higher speed on my Mk1 at all... gt6878e
I've got a morris minor one on it at the mo so one speed doesn't matter, as long as it wipes i'll be happy
JSBulmer
When I got my car, the wiper motor was kaput. Wanting to maintain the look of originality I had a shop in Canada rebuild the interior bits of the motor. I get one speed, but that has been all I ever needed.Could be an option.jb
