  1. http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-FP10514 If memory serves me, used on the early mk 1/2...
  2. Pictures from US ebay, a very original GT6+ for sale a few years ago. Don't know if they are different, but have seen the same (lower part, but cut at the top of windscreen, see below) on a very original mk 2 spitfire here in Denmark... I didn't bother fitting them on my own mk 3 spit though...

  4. No tr-tax on the one I bought from graveyard a few ...years? ago ;-) Reverse lamp same as on some Jags, THATS taxed  :o
  5. Wow - should be able to run within a week   :)

  9. Wouldn't trust that welded track rod  ??) Rimmers and others sell recon ones: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-129961R (But Paddock sell a recon steering rack for £35+vat, others have the same for sure)... I bought a LHS from him a few years ago.
  10. The ones bought from Rimmer some were in the late 90ish didn't have any top part (LHD mk 3 spit). My original ones (very early mk 3) either, so is this an addition for later cars?
  11. I was able to reuse original wood, after extensive use of some good old wood glue  :) Was supplied with all materials, so don't know with covering material. Make sure its strong; otherwise I don't believe the vinyl will last for long. Pictures of complete seat was passenger seat done by the owner years ago (yes, he is not that fast - no names though - he is on this forum too - muhaha 8) ) Don't know why he put that white clothing on. As for protecting the horse hair; I just used a good quality plastic bag I had.
  12. 8. Sorry - must get an account somewhere to upload pictures  :B
  13. Put some pvc on the back side too, or the horse hair will get wet! I used a 5mm tap on the wooden parts. Some pictures from one I did for a friend of mine
  14. Re the handbrake gaiter: NOS one from ebay showing how it was originally
  15. Depends on your welding skills - you risk the panel will warp due to heat. Then - if you one day will have to replace it - you will kick your self  :P
  16. I got a pump like the one pictured (a friend gave it to me), didn't fit the mk 3 (FD) engine due to wrong leaver. Make sure its the right one. In the end, I used the lower part from the original pump, and fitted the top part from the new one. Going electric later on anyway  8)
