  4. when i got my 1144 they were to fit stag caliper setup as i replaced those skinny discs mk1 brakes,made a huge improvement

    wide radiators

    it might just wont re-bottoming,had the same on my old cortina,local rad firm re-bottomed it for me as the core was still good hold was holding pressure,just an idea
  13. proberly crap in the rocker shaft,u need to strip and clean with petrol or thinners and use an air line to blow out all the crud inside or buy a new rocker shaft saves on cleaning and getting dirty
  14. i dremal`d mine with sanding barrel and fine needle file,clean cloth around the area where it fit to block,stops any crap from getting in
  15. quite good price for budget tyres,i put mich energys on the 2000mk1est and it suck to the road like glue,chuck it in few corners hard and i felt relaxed,even better with bit of weight in the back,hugged the road and looked cool,but crap on fuel ;D
  16. ive just done my bumpers yesterday and used autosol first and then simoniz body polish,it just takes elbow power to get good finish,job done and gleaming 8)

  19. looking at the rims,think seller got the wrong rims for his t2000,,,pcd looks alittle closer to centre hole,where 4.5j standards?
  20. seller does say he was gonna fit to his mk2 2000 but changed his mind and gone stag,,,and there 5j not 5.5j

  23. in my past experiance,i should of gone for the mk2,parts are alot easier to find and they hold value more and more people wont mk2`s then mk1`s,but that my penny worth estate`s are rare and handy,mainly for crap run to tip :P,buy a good bodied one,dont matter about engine,engine part are always available but do your research first before buying,get as much info you can and see a few other cars before deciding
