Deleted User
they can be quite expensive, and will be made harder by wanting them close, one idea is that if you plan on going stoneliegh in feb you may be able to get someone to bring a set along. AJ.Lintern
They're quite rare, but they do come up on eBay from time to time. When I got mine they were a bit tatty, so had to shot blast and paint them. I've now got some Revs, unfortunately I don't live anywhere near Norfolk ;)
GT6 John
Probably a daft suggestion, but have you asked around at the local Triumph meetings?I mentioned in passing to someone that I was looking for a set of 5.5Js and they said, "oh I've got a set lying around that I don't want, do you want them?" ! What are the chances?! ;D
Desperate Damson
Yeah i have asked a few people in our group, most people have just have a chuckle when asked. I shall have to keep my eyes peeled.Paul
DaveKent
those ebay ones are way too expensive on the starting bid!! there are3 plenrty of sets of these around if you look hard enough. the trouble is once you start saying "rare" , the sellers seem to believe they have something they can ask stupid money for!i have recently bought two sets of these rims, one set cost me £50, the other £40.you just have to look!!!! Clive
I was under the impression they were never original fitment. Thought they were sold as an aftermarket goodie. Bit like alloys are now.
