Spitfire 1500 US-Version change bumper

Hi everybody!

I have a question about the (late) US-Version of the Spitfire 1500. This model has a very ugly plastic rear bumper, is it possible to replace it by the UK-bumper?

I wouldn't have thought the mounting points would be any different so I'm going to stick my neck out and say YES!

Yes, that is commonly done here in the States. Changing the front is a bit more work, but the rear is about as simple as Tim and Shaun imply.

Yes!  I've done it to my '79.  Back bumper was simple.  Front bumper required some grinding and a sawsall, but it's worth it and much lighter too.
