PaulB
Hi All,I believe rear fog lights were an option on the late 1500 spitfires. Does anyone have a picture of the original factory fog light switch and where it was located on the dash? Or were they just after market fog lights fitted by the local Triumph dealer? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Doug Thompson
The late ones had an orange push /pull switch to the right of the main speedo etc ,similar to the hazard switch , sorry no pictureCheers Doug
hypoid53
Here is a photo of my GT6 dash in which I have installed a genuine late Spitfire 1500 switch. I have also installed a similar one (in red) for the rear screen heater. New ones are still available from Mick Dolphin I believe.
PaulB
Thanks Doug & hypoid!Does Mick Dolphin have a website or do you have his number? As I'd like to order a new switch if he still sells them.

FloydP
Hi Paul, have you tried Rimmers, there showing it on there web sitehttp://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/cgi-bin/rimmer?findpart&PartID=TKC5067&Page=triumph/spitfire/elecDon't know if that means they've got it in stock though.Cheers,Floyd. PaulB
Thanks Floyd. It seems that it is in stock but £30 for a switch seems a bit steep. Twice the price that Mick Dolphin quoted before he realised that he sold his last one.I might just leave it for a while or see if I can source it else where.
