Thought this was a really nice car, some of you may have seen it already:

sounds like it still has quite a bit of grunt!

Can't help but wonder how the close proximity of the fuelling to the hot exhaust affects running, but it's certainly a very seamless looking installation.

I still have the dizzy with advance welded up on my six as the ECU only has two coil drivers for four cylinder DIS. With six cylinders you need to keep the distributor to distribute the sparks. Technicaly this is not a problem untill reving to over 8500 rpm as then the spark from a single coil starts to weaken, as my hard cut limiter is set at 7000 and my crank would be lying on the road at eight and a half this is not an issue.

Mine has run like that for years without issue and an awfull lot of umph going through it so much that if leads are touching (Bosch) she will fire both plugs.



DIS coil packs are not infailable either.
