Richard B
How bad is the loom you have?ps Wiring looms tend to be very model specific.
GTRoger
I've got mine from Autosparks. Good quality with all the original connectors etc.http://www.autosparks.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3962
timraven
David Manners were the cheapest for my Spit Mk 4 loom, cost less than £180 for the whole car.CheersTim
Wolverine27
Thanks guys, my loom is pretty awful so was thinking of starting from scratch. Autosparks looks good around 250 inclusive of VAT but will try David manners for the price. Should a novice enthusiast attempt this at all, how much/ long would a garage take/ charge . Thanks
bodders1
It's worth keeping an eye open on eBay for a second-hand loom.I picked up a complete loom for a Spit 1500 for around £15 a few years ago and was able to use it to repair/replace portions of my existing loom. It hasn't caught fire yet :-)

Hope you don't mind the car being decommissioned for a couple of months?Possible for a novice to do/learn but take things slowly with plenty of notes and photos along the way. A proper wiring diagram is a pre-requisite.
