Paudman
Hi all - anyone know if the original AC oil filler cap for the 2 litre engine is still available? Mine is a bit past it's best... all the major stockists appear to sell the later flat type without the breather on top.Looking to buy beg borrow or purloin a good one... sadly can't make Stoneleigh to look in person.Colin
GreenV8Machine
you mean new? if not try triumph land or spitfire graveyard.
Paudman
To be honest M8 I mean anything better than this one.New would be excellent but even eBay has drawn a blank. To be even more honest my personal experiences of the Spitfire Graveyard would leave me buying one far worse than this. Fizzy
what would it cost to save the one you have ?
heraldcoupe
Is it the same part as used on the 4-cylinder cars? It certainly looks the same, but getting to my parts lists to check isn't easy at the moment. They don;t usually rust like that as they're usually covered in oil.....Cheers,Bill. Paudman
Mon Joo! I searched for these all weekend and found none....thanks Tim!Looks good, this one does, but it's an exchange item... he may well throw mine in the bin if he got it in exchange.Bill - I'm not sure if these were used on the 4 cylinder cars, possibly the Tr range, but I can't find any good photos to confirm.I may yet blast mine and respray matt black. Ben Hutchings
exchange.. so he's cleaning up and chroming them for resale. If you bought one, yours will be on eBay next week! :)go for it, it'd cost you a lot more than £15 to get yours chromed.

rotoflex
Isn't that eBay cap the Mk3 cap? The earlier ones had the breather on top like the one in Paudman's picture.
