Just timings and we are not visiting the Haynes Museum, instead, the penultimate control will be at Popham Airfield between Andover and Basingstoke.

The roadbook has W3W codes for the route and the controls.

Hi Tim

Any idea when the Tom Tom route link will be available to down load (don't want to miss it !) as there are 'some' differences Vs last event

Thanks in advance

For those of you who haven't installed a route on your Garmin SatNav previously I have attached the notes I prepared for the last Coast 2 Coast run which explain how to do it & a few points you need to be aware of before setting off. The one major difference is the Waypoint names which for the RBRR are simply two digit numbers as shown on the route map.

Cheers

Howard

Hi, we talked at Gaydon, good to meet you

Just downloaded the GPX files on WhatsApp and uploaded to TomTom My Drive, updated my TomTom (speed cameras/ 20mph Wales?) and the files synchronised. Opened the routes, all perfect and ready for the RBRR. Thank you

Snap.. did exactly the same.. worked really easily

 the maps are short sections

i think you will be fine as long as you have opened the map and are running it before you enter a no signal area as it will be running nav  from phone gps , you will lose search and live traffic functionality  of course until signal/data is restored

I tend to use tom-tom go on the phone. You can pay for just one month and it doesn't need network and the interface is clearer than Google maps. It also calculates your average speed in average speed check zones.

Thanks for that bit of info! Was contemplating getting a satnav just for this!! It even has a 7 day free trial!! 😊
