John Bonnett Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I just wondered if this is possible on a Rotoflex car with the chassis mounting damper conversion? Quote
Steve AKA vitessesteve Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Can not see how if the transverse spring were still in place: Quote
Nick Jones Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 As an assist spring (which I suspect is what you have in mind), possibly, though space is tight especially if you are still running the actual rotoflexes. The roto itself is probably the closest thing, though there isn't much clearance between damper and link either near the bottom.Better to sort the leaf spring IMONick Quote
John Bonnett Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Thank you for that; more or less what I thought but just exploring every angle. Quote
Steve AKA vitessesteve Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 You can of course use a lowering block between the spring and diff to push the ride height down. Not adjustable very easily except by swapping for a different thickness block. Quote
Nick Jones Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I have a feeling he wants to go up......Nick Quote
Clive Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 You can add leaves, or swap a short for long etc to fine tune the spring. Quote
GT6chris Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Hi John,How about this. This was the rear spring fitted to my GT6 when purchased. I have never used it so no idea what effect it would have had.regardsChris Quote
