Sienna PI
Hi All! Would anyone know if there is an oil seal at the front end of the gearbox casing (the end where the bell housing attaches to) that can be replaced? Looking at diagrams online i cannot see a seal, i can only see a gasket! Cheers, Sienna PI
Paudman
No seal at the front, only the rear. There's a scroll-type system that's supposed to keep the oil back when the engine runs, but if you overfill or park it facing downhill, it runs out when the car is stopped. Matt306
And due to the wear you scroll seal would have had it pees oil out through the bellhousing drain hole... make sure its clear so oil doesnt get thrown on to the clutch
