BiTurbo228
Quoted from Jonny-Jimbo Could use your steel one as a template to do the aluminium one, and means your spacer will be a lot lighter too! Also, your spacer should help with the only real failing of the alloy backplate (splitting at the bottom two bolt holes).
stevegt6
Had the pleasure of a quick nosey on saturday at a MK2 which had a very nice install of a Rover V8 mated to a LT77. Phone was not available for photos.....maybe next time.It was all very nicely done - no chassis mods or any other external mods to give it away......only when the key was turned 😎

Gt6s
Quoted from stevegt6 Had the pleasure of a quick nosey on saturday at a MK2 which had a very nice install of a Rover V8 mated to a LT77. However with the six engine the backplate of the engine sits quite a bit further back than on the Rover this means that the clutch arm protrusion will clear the chassis with the Rover but not the six.Laurence
