sparky_spit
Well done Stuart. I bet that was fun in the Moss? 11mins is pretty good; was that with sections at 30mph average? I keep trying to get Colin Scrapman to recommission his and use it in events, complete with flying helmet and goggles.
Stuart Wilson
yeah 30 mph average I think
Stuart Wilson
I believe the Feb 12 car is now full. But the next one will be part of the Hexham Historic/John Robson events, so if you fancy a good run out on some great roads in Northumberland. Ideal for those who fancy a go but don't have an MSA licence
Stuart Wilson
I've entered the 12 car tonight, we'll see how we get on. Not doing it in a Triumph though, using my trusty Calibra.
sparky_spit
Good luck Stuart, let us know how you get on. It's always nice to hear how other rallyists are doing in different parts of the country. Mike Helm/Mark Rutter are out on Friday night in the CMC Tendring Hundred, as is Mike Bishop if he can get a navigator in time. Colin Wake and I are organising. Stuart Wilson
Well we finished, not sure on how well we did, don't think we were last though. Don't think we dropped a massive amount of time, main reason was to slow down when the navigator was being ill 🤔The next Hexham 12 car is running alongside the Hexham Historic/John Robson event on saturday march 14th, if any ony fancies a good fun night
Stuart Wilson
Next Hexham 12 car is teh 29th of April, couple of places left I think if anyone fancies a go.I'll be out marshalling on this one as don't want to risk the TR before I head to Ireland in it

Stuart Wilson
The next Hexham 12 car event is on Wednesday 20th September, all on OS map 81. My entry is in, there are four places left if anyone is interested in entering. It is a shame they are on a week night as it does prevent a few from taking part. But we finished 5th, think there was 10 or 11 started. Got all the control boards but dropped a total of 14 minsNo doubt I'll do a report for Club Torque

Stuart Wilson
The last Hexham 12 car of the year did indeed run last night the 29th, I had my entry in and was off car 6 with Chris alongside. But I didn't make the start due to a coming together with a large grass verge and ditch resulting in the front wheels not pointing in the same direction
sparky_spit
Oh Dear... that's not good news. Hope you are okay and the car is not too badly damaged?
Stuart Wilson
Yes I'm fine, the car is not so good though. After I went off and the police arrived the council then arrived with a gritter to grit the road
