Well from my three runs the main issues encountered are:

1. Fitting new untested /uprated parts/poor repro parts (such as alternators and service items) a week or less before the start and then having them fail within 24 hours. Finish the prep in August and drive the car for a month or two.... this will hopefully sort out any dodgy stuff

2.Crap alternators... I recommend trying to steer completely clear of repro or original Lucas stuff and convert to a Bosch

3.Driver fatigue at 2-5am on Sunday morning.... try to get some sleep on Saturday when everyone is buzzing and awake.

4.Wallet fatigue if thrashing a PI on Optimax

Tr7 probs on 10cr
My fault, I know but boiling brake fluid, going down Stelvio.... So take extre fluid and a small spanner.
HCR 2008, Main headlight switch went, but that could go anytime, just make sure your front and rear foglights work off a different circuit, that way you can do as we did, run on a rear foglight, get pulled and get let off...... :D :D
