molten
Hi ChrisHope you are well mate.Doesnt seem to want to go past the ignition barrel!! Or is it just me :-/
CHRIS211083
The ignition barrel on the steering stem was an extra you could have. Mine didnt have one but have seen plenty with them. Looking at the photo's on the Rimmerbros website it looks like it just links the two mounting points however Its still hard to see the fitting problem. Pic's are best???Chris. Fred101
I was just trying to reasemble my column the other day and I had the same kind of problem, the brace just won't slide into place around the ignition at all. It was like one of those Christmas cracker puzzles. My solution was taking everything to bits including dropping the ignition barrel off the steering column and then putting it back on with the brace already fitted around it.Annoying, but it worked. :-/
