Right where were we upto? I have got the chassis leg back in. So have now added the rear floor section. I have added in the bottom half of the heel board. There is a little bit to repair still on the heel board.

Got some repairs around the front floor and the tunnel to do then onto suspension mount at rear. Of heel board.

Nice shot of my electrolysis tank removing the rust from some panels to allow for reuse.

At present cold weather has stopped play. The car is in an unheated garage so I only tend to go in in warmer months as its a hobby not punishment.

I have also been tinkering with my TR7 and doing some decorating in the house.

I think the description of dilapidated is not a bad one to be fair.  I usually underestimate how much work is needed.

Sadly due to an long term ongoing back condition i cannot continue with this. Its just too much work i can work on it a day and then be in pain evening and the next day.

I will likely split it down for parts unless someone wants to offer me for it.

Hi Matt sorry to hear about the bad back I have similar problem but no we’re near as bad as yours sounds . If you do brake the car which will be a shame I am after good back and front bumpers and fuel filler cap complete

Having cut the vehicle up , i am now convinced it was the right decision. Underneath there was evidence of patching to main rails.

The gutter rails around the tonneau were completely gone and the boot lid gutters were paper thin.

Sometime you need to realise it just wouldnt be strong or safe enough for road use.
