Greeks
Looking good :-)I'm about to get some new tyres for mine, but have decided the best way to equal out my speedo error is to get 195x65 R14 ... should actually have the speedo correct! steadyg
I'm running 205/60x14 rears and 175/65x14 fronts, all on 6inch rimsGarry
Doug Thompson
Minilites IMHO certainly look better on mk1's , I use 195/65 15, whereas the five spoke revolutions seem to look better on the mk2 ;D
Greeks
Beggars can't be choosers at this end of the world, Doug ;-) I could probably buy two sets of superlites for the postage of a set of Rev's :-(
mikeyb
We put TR6 steels on Gertie (Mk1) for the RBRR, and fitted em with 205/65/15s. Rears are fine but we had to roll in the front arch lips slightly and on full lock they just scuff the spot welded flange where the inner arch and the wing closing panel meet behing the wheel, so slightly too big there I think!Mind you, the grip is now phenomenal compared with before on 175R13, even thought the tyres are budgets. When checked against the satnav, the speedo reading (previously over 10mph out) was almost correct.Interstingly when we pulled the spare out of the boot, it turned out to be an original(?) crossply, with a diameter almost the same as the 15's!
