jamie31888
Hi All,Just received a wheel arch vinyl set from Park Lane Classics.I haven't got a clue on how to go about stretching the vinyl over the wheel arches, especially without getting any wrinkles :oI have purchased some evostik impact contact adhesive spray from Halfrauds. Can anyone please offer some advise or share their experiences with this? Thanks Guys :)
Velocita Rosso
When I did this ...........it was easyCoat both surfaces with impactMake contact with one edge to fixHold the rest in mid air and gently stretch the vinylAt the same time lowering the vinyl further onto the archAs it makes contact gently pull and lowerAs the contact is made and the pulling, stretches, as it settles, the stretch begins to retract and hence no wrinklesThis is all best done with a heated interior/materialIts best if you have four hands..............seriously...get a second set just to hold and stretch gently whilst you affix

Andy_w83
Looks good that. The rear cards are held on by screws and the soft top fixings/seatbelt clip, sorry cannot remember the exact locations.Andy
JensH
Could only find this one - you need to start with the vinyl around the B-post (remember to wrap it around the corner, so the door seal will cover it).
jamie31888
Thanks for the advice/ pictures , so am I right in saying you have to drill through the boards to attach the hood frame?

There should be pre-cut holes on the back of the board which are covered by the vinyl. Car looks great!Alex
JensH
http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/ImagePopUp.aspx?i=GRID0059633 small holes each side - see left side of Rimmer-picture. Use cup-washers for good finish. As I took the picture above, I had not fasten mine.
