Door Handle Orientation?

Hi All,

Could anyone please tell me which is the correct way to install the door handles on a mk3 spit?

Cant seem to find a definitive answer.. :-/

The only way you haven't tried... :-)

Pointing upwards so you just have to push on it to open the door.

I did put mine like Gaz above: Forward - but here is another one for 'down'
(and I am not speaking about ... hmm ... )  8)

Same as early Gt6, they point straight down.

I have 2 GT6's one points forwards the other straight up, I prefer the straight up.

Down was as original, but do whatever is comfortable for you!  :)

Handle position is to personal preference.Mine points to the rear, but the original workshop manual shows them pointing down
