Paudman
Anyone found the collar for the SimonBBC electronic ignition to be too thick when fitted around the centre spindle, holding the red rotor arm just slightly too high so that it never clips on right? My GT6 dizzy never seems to have the arm on tightly enough; I suppose it’s held on by the cap but I’d rather have it click into place. I’ve got starting problems at present and am trying to eliminate any culprits. Anyone tried skimming theirs slightly?
thescrapman
I know they do not push down far enough sometimes.measure the depth and compare tohow far it sits.CheersColin
dinger
Trimmed the collar off from mine to allow the rotor arm to drop .Also needed to lift moving sensor ring up the shaft to allow it to generate spark
