The joke was, I did a 2600mile Eurotrip in the Summer round the Alps with one little problem (alternator unplugged itself). On the 2000mile round Britain run: Snapped oil pressure guage tubeSnapped starter motor wirePuncture - fixed with tyreweldPuncture - Tyreweld failed. Spare fittedSnapped alternator boltIgnition key switch failureLuckilly, I'll be off to NZ in Jan/Feb 2012 so can give Spitty a good send off on the 10CR (which will fall on her 40th birthday)!N.B. Darren is not my Dad but "some bloke" I met in the Plough the first time I turned up who emailed saying "Someone's written off my Dolly - space for a co-driver?
