sparky_spit
Now this may sound a bit weird, but I've got to ask. On the 2009 10CR, a week after the event, I noticed all my fingernails had a little ridge in them, about a week's worth of growth down the nail from the cuticle. A medically minded freind told me it is a sign of stress, poor diet and/or lack of sleep. I dismissed this as rubbish.Today, I can just see the signs of these ridges appearing again. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just a freak?
SteveJP
I think you just answered your own question Mike :P :PSeriously, you must have suffered some serious stress this year, do you know when you get your car back? Mine took nearly 3 weeks last time, as the AA 'forgot' to fax the recovery truck company for a week after the event, and it remained in the garage near Grenoble for that period.Steve
sparky_spit
Yes, I must be a freak then. Maybe I can claim a new disease for the medical journals... 10CR Digitalis Truimphus Banksonius.Had a call from AA ACTA last night saying it would be repatriated in 2 to 3 weeks, so that's okay as long as there are no unexpected hiccups. Deleted User
White ridges forming on your nails could be lack of calcium. You may not eat as well when you drive long periods?

I've just looked at those John and I've now become an instant hypocondriac. I guess soaking my fingers in petrol for a period of time the other week, while cleaning out the boat's fuel tank, didn't help either.
thescrapman
How many of us are sitting here looking at our finger nails...What ever you do don't follow the link for Kawasaki Disease, it will have you wondering if that next knock at the door is the Grim Reaper.... Nick Jones
Well, I guess you were more stressed than most of Mike...... Stress tends to cause my finger nails to get very short - but that's just a bad habit!Nick
