andy thompson
Reckon you need a shorter diff - all 3rd and 3rd OD - 4th and 4th OD would be quicker and a LOT easier on the gearbox - is that rev counter accurate ??)Looks like brilliant fun - love the Craner Curves
TRTOM2498
Maybe a 3:7 with a 22% O/D. ?Where will it ever end. ? :)Cheers.
andy thompson
3.7 is the best compromise - ok for long distance work with OD - (best for maximum speed) and all that 3rd / od3rd work will be 3rd 4th and OD 4th work
Tim Bancroft
Jeez, Tom, that was a manic look-you are possessed!!!Maybe time to buy a track car and leave that TR6 for road work? At least get a roll over cage?
JohnD
That was a GoPro?I've been wishing to get one instead of my little Lumix, that is overwhelmed by the noise inside SofS, but if that's a GoPro, I'll save my money!Good, isn't it, Donington?JOhn
TRTOM2498
Hi Tim,I am not spending all the money again on a track car again. ! Time to buy a race car. !Short of a cage, but car is all set for the track: Harnesses, firewall, Yoko A048 rubber. The car is the best of both worlds.May fit a cage, yes.Cheers. TRTOM2498
Hi John,It was the first time I have used the GoPro, and both windows were down approx 1/2". Regardless, the sound quality should be better tham that, so further fine adjustment required. Will keep you posted.Done Donington many times, including the GP circuit. It is a great local circuit for me, and yes, flows lovely. The hairpin on the new circuit does spoil it somewhat in terms of the overall flow.Cheers. JohnD
As it happens (shouldn't say that now, should we?) a new thraed on TRR is about sound and GoPro.They are more concerned with wind noise, and recommend a hairy cover!http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/47203-recording-gopro-camera-audio/John
