Well folks this is not a track day but no one seems to stick to threads anyway so as this is such a rare Triumph I thought you all may like a peep at it driving round Goodwood in the revival, well off the pace, but it was at least there.
Why are there no early TR's racing in the revival

Well what can I say, the camera work is the main feature, as somehow we had to try to make in look exciting so Diane gave it HER style.

Oh and any one who thinks a Sprint is slower than a GT6, watch this one.

More poor quality vid footage, I put it on because I love close wheel to wheel dicing, cos I would love to race but cannot afford it.
I certainly give it more revs to nail the BM once and for all cos he was holding me up in the corners and a handful on the straights.

The final one is Micks M5 when he comes across an idiot who clearly has not listened to the briefing.................remember be alert, your country needs lerts.

The next track day I will have to honour the promise to take you round Chris.
As you can see from the shaky clips it was a hairy session, which is just how I like it.
Diane ............steady steering?  ??)
She wont let me bolt her to the car as she bites me when I try :P

wow thankx chaps, You obviously all got bitten by the bug here ;)

I particularly love the guy feathering the throttle in the Kart else it simply doesn't face anywhere remotely like the right direction and then getting obvious wheelspin at what seems like about 160mph  ;D

Sounds like Dave S should come on our next jaunt to the ring, come and drive my car  ::),

so now who will be the passenger (?) as we are doing a video too
;D

btw, does anyone here know you can test at Mallory and wednesday morning if you have a RAC licence, it's very useful if you don't mind the unpredictable midlands weather.
The Kart is mad eh?! 113HP?? 1100cc? Mad considering a 21HP fully tuned 2 Stroke is very much like being attached to a cruise missle and being in a washing machine on a full power spin at the same time....

Drive your car? Sounds like a good deal :)
Well that's a low tuned kart. the really HE MAN (MAXI) karts for enthusiasts have nearly 75 Bhp, but they are usually Rotax 250s.

Most people don't have the bottle for such beasts as they do 150mph on a circuit like the ring, the acceleration is just lunatic and they do 20 000rpm+, - so almost as fast as the one with bike engine as the engine weighs next to nothing and consequently much better balance.  ;D ;D

I'll keep you posted for the 'ring outing, we want to bring some funny stuff like the "Triumph rocket111" a friend has.... ;D

Yes Doug you could well be right sadly these days normally have several accidents and for that reason you need to be careful.
I do love em though cos I just enjoy a good ol burn up, I think their boy is driving that bug well.
ill be a passenger!!

*goes off to find some adult pampers.........* ;)
I meant in the JAG for the DV!
I don't have a chassis for the old Tri..ooomph engine, and it's not likely to be rebuilt for some time, tho I found the old comp gearbox/OD the other day!
(700 psi Oil pressure was just short of rupture of the sliding clutch I'm told)

I guess a nice choice would be a GT6 cabrio, but 200ftlb torque on one of those chassis  :'(..
....comes on cam 4500.....power to 9000 (it's a drug!) ;D
