Mad Mart
Booo Hooo! :'( I can't take it any more. I'm going out to thrash my Sprint with a branch...Did the rules change this year? Only the last two years overtaking was on the left. Looking at those vids you could pass either side?
Deleted User
there wasnt really any rules on overtakin, just aslong as you didnt take anyone out, infact they said it was up to you to overtake and not the slow person to get out the way.

Tim Bancroft
Noticed he waged his head as if to disaprove. Annoying, if he'd spun his MGF he'd have done a few pirouetes!Full marks to the Sprint boys and girls - such good cars.
trackerjack
We dont think he shook his head in disapproval, Tim, but merely looked over to see the outcome, then checked his mirror. However, I posted a thanks message on an MG's on track video stating that we used a Sprint and the guy removed it, so I would deduce that they would rather not have us there. If they could run it with just MG's, they would.Imagine if all Triumph clubs got together for a track day we would almost have enough............give another two years. Mad Mart
I thought he was shaking his head the first time I saw it but he wasn't. I've told you before, I spun on whatever the Herald estate was dribbling on to the circuit. ;DJust read the full description:-Quote:Track Day on Silverstone full GP circuit. A Triumph Vitesse drops water on the track, a Dolomite spins on it and so do I...nearly!

trackerjack
Ha Ha yes with one or two exceptions the crashers were all crappy rear engined rubbish.Very good to see so many Beetles damaged (has to be one of the worlds crappiest cars). 2Toledos
On a slightly different note:Bloody cheek - Castle Combe are now charging track/action day drivers an extra £5 for the privilege of carrying passengers :oWhere do they get off charging us to carry passengers in our cars ? trackerjack
All the time they can fill the place up on these days, the cost is going to rise.I predict that someone will get killed at a track day, and they will return to the small little efforts they used to be.Just think only 7 years ago I wrote to them, questioning the sanity of allowing people on track with no helmet :o
