Simple enough task: Get to the control an hour before the first cars are due.Set up the control, including putting up CT banners in prominent positionsWear CT hi-Visibilty waist coats.Open the control at the alloted timeSign drivers Road booksOnce all crews have been through, dismantle ControlLet RBRR Cenral Control know about any retirementsGo homeIn addition some marshals will be required at to sort out parking at the more confined Controls.Marshals are required at the following locations (Times are very Approx. at pres):Fr 06/10. 22.00hrs Blythe Services, A1 (M), NottinghamSat 07/10 00.45hrs Bishops Garage, Corbridge or Durham Services A1or Washington Services, A1Sat 07/10 03.00hrs Edinburgh Airport or Kinross services M90Sat 07/10 09.00hrs Seaview Hotel, John O'GroatsSat 07/10 13.30hrs Conon Hotel, Conon BridgeSat 07/10 21.45hrs Lancaster Services, M6Sat 07/10 23.45hrs Oswestry Services, OswestrySun 08/10 02.30hrs Gordano Services M5, BristolSun 08/10 07.30hrs Lands End HotelSun 08/10 11.50hrs Dartmoor Lodge HotelSun 08/10 16.30hrs Goodwood Motor Racing Track, ChichesterWe are going to two other stops- Stirling and Pimperne (Blandford Forum), however Marshals are arranged for these.We also need some members to volunteer for Car Park Marshalling at The Plough at the start and the finish. This is going to be an important job as we have to squeeze 90 cars into the car park!Please contact me if you are willing to help with any of the above jobs. Its a nice way to get involved with the event, the start will be fantastic.
