  2. A mate of a mate fitted one to his race midget, think he only did a few corners before he had an off, he put the original diff back in afterwards.
  3. You can always fit a sleeve, this restricts the water flow, i use them in both of the cars.

  7. If you have a set of jump leads use one half of them for an earth wire, it will rule that one out, then it's probably the starter or solenoid.

  10. Maybe, but its the same as the one on the Sprite ok on that but i found with a fresh engine the starter struggled especially when your trying to set up the dizzy/ carbs.
  11. I always found the standard one to turn it over a bit slow, after all its the same starter they used on 850 minis, the Nippon spins it over quicker.
  12. Hi torque is way better, especially if the engine is a bit tight from a rebuild.

  18. If only the speedo was accurate, but that's a separate thread (it is about 10mph higher than the speed on a satnav). Your satnav is wrong GT6's are fast even when they are parked ) RR
