Encom
Got these wheels (13 x 5.5 - ish) on a local auction site.Does anyone know what make they are? Vendor thought they may be Cosmic's, but I don't think so. There are no marks on them anywhere.
Rallyspit
Look at those weights! That's one very out-of-balance wheel you've got there......

piman
Hello Nick,my initial thought was Weller but Googling Weller wheel images and also visiting their website brings up no five spoke design. The rather worrying thing about those wheels is the centre looks to be flat which means it is likely to flex with side load?Alec
Nick Jones
I think they might be Australian as I think I've seen them over there, usually on Utes. The centre plate is pretty chunky.Nick
Encom
I was worried about flex as well, then when they arrived found the centre plate is built like a brick dunny, about 1/2" thick steel - light weight they are not.
piman
Hello Encom,!/2" thick, that's real heavyweight, you might need to see if you need longer studs with those?Alec

Weller wheels are as heavy as hell.Laurence
piman
Hello Laurence, but if you look at the spoked Weller wheels , the centre is dished, so can use a much lighter gauge of steel without compromising strength. Steel wheels are generally fairly heavy any way.Alec
bxbodger
Could they be GB? I've had a set of GB's in the past, not like those but with the same coach lining around the rim.
oldmetalhead82
Wellers have the same pinstriping but to the outside of the rim .
