sparky_spit
I buy quite a few bits in Halfords and nearly always use them for consumables, and wondered how easy it is to get a trade card when I'm not exactly "in the trade". Can I use my "status" as a Club Triumph "official" do you think? How have others approached this and found an acceptable to Halfords "occupation"? They seem to allow tradesman to get one. I blagged mine years ago. Turned up in overalls etc.
thescrapman
I have heard of officials in clubs using that as a reason to get a trade card.
Rutty
I got my discount card by having a motor sport uk clubman license of the motor sort uk website. Even though it’s expired they don’t check.
Steve AKA vitessesteve
I got my card whilst learning welding at college. I find I can get most things cheaper by going to a local motor factors so the Halfords trade card gets little use.
