I might invite the Mercia Motor Club again (who joined us for the Summer Treasure hunt) to fill the numbers, with a proviso in the rules that the overall winner must be a member of CT, but they could still win class results. I checked with the place I booked last year and they said they've had a change of management with no record of the booking, and won't do a booking for a party as big as ours at the end of the run. I'm doing my best to find a new venue to finish at. It may be that I have to book some kind of hall etc to have as an end venue, although I have not budgeted for providing two meals or booking two venues, so we'll have to see how things progress.Bit of a bump in the road, but hopefully the only one!! Another venue came to the rescue, so the route will need some tweaking (maybe some twerking too?), but we have a really nice finish venue, AND we have the exclusive use of it, so better than the previous place!!
