  1. Well this is a nightmare I checked I was all logged in, entry opens and it appears you can not enter from an iPad. There is no 10CR section available as there is no events showing, and it is not in the calendar either, so no link from there. Tried the laptop, no idea what my password is, tried phone and it seems to have remembers my password. Filled in forms, and any attempt to see if the entry is there just results in a Bad Gateway message. 😞
  2. I am sure I have a set of Sterlings some where. Perhaps need to dig them out for period fitment.
  3. Read on the news just now that some CM postcodes have not had deliveries for 3 weeks now due to staff shortages.
  4. I would ring Mr SBF, and have a chat to him. Or his missus.

    E5 Petrol

I went to fill the Disco, pump stopped at £99, only 3/4 full. Luckily I wasn't paying.
  6. And as a note of warning, if you do find a tag on the chassis, make sure it can not be read by anyone else such as an MOT tester, it is not worth the pain.
  7. You were doing so well, then blew it on the last one and stuck it to the ceiling again. 🙂
  8. As the original wishbone bushes on the Spitfire are still in perfect condition after 53 years,I wonder if I need the promise of 3-4 times their life from a set of polyurethane bushes in that position. May not be about to see them out. 🙂 I do have poly steering rack bushes on a few cars, immersion on oil hasn't been great for the rubber ones, and quite a few on the big saloon as the originals were very poor. Change as required is my view, not by default.
  9. Is the cheaper solution to print the overall just giving page QR code on the stickers? Or just provide each team with a QR code on a sheet of paper, and put an arrow on the stickers pointing at the sheet of paper, which could be stuck in the car window. You could also print an individual "redirector" URL QR code on each set of team stickers, basically a numbered Set of stickers which is then pointing onto the teams JG page.
  10. Minis had hydraulic switches as standard I think, definitely the solution, just need to find somewhere to tap into the lines
  11. Look at bottom of page. £101k plus 15k gift aid available, total £116k ish, I'm working on what I read last night.
  12. I thought the total JG showed was before gift aid. Dont forget not all donations allow reclaim of the tax.
  13. It is still on the road, so hopefully someone knows where it is.
  14. I sometimes regret giving my Bond away. Was in far better condition than that one. The back window fell in through the hole. Goodbye back window. 😞 Hope you got the glass with yours.
  15. Found a mention of the travel on the Koni 80-2089, slightly mixed up with the normal one 1/2" bolt is 14" to 9.5" 5/8" bolt is 12" to 9 5/8"
  16. Mine is a Monaco, and my column misses my pedals. As they were all different, it was down to how you built it. I would go for a hydraulic brake light switch in the pipe from master to first brass junction bit.
  17. Only ring TDF Doug. Website not designed for browsing. I have been told new Spitfire sills are not the greatest fit, the tooling maybe worn out. That is even Heritage stuff.
  18. I spotted a carbon offset scheeme mentioned in paper yesterday, a guy buys charcoal in Namibia, fills containers with it, ships it to the UK and burys it in a disused quarry. I think the word is shyster. 🙂
  19. Other option is drop the floor pan a couple of inches, then the MX5 seats fit better. I would look at pictures of what others have done, or even better try to get to see some. there are a couple of GT6 with MX5 tombstone seats in them. Sure 1 of the owners is about6 ft.
  20. You need to be quick with some of them, it looks like it is all the "reference" parts that were hoarded years ago for possible later retooling, so just 1 or 2 of everything. Andwhen they are gone they are gone.
  21. Word needs to be spread far and wide about what products are rubbish, but no publication or club will do that for fear of unwelcome feedback from their advertisers. But unless that happens, nothing will change. The TRR spares thing may be the way to go. Or a list of "best" options against part numbers, maintained by a chosen group of people so it can not be influenced. Peer reviewed parts like medical stuff.
  22. Overdrive and reversing lights are all connected via the 2 wires from the loom, green and green with a tracer (can't remember tracer colour) One wire from loom is 12v, other goes back out to reversing lights. The 12 v feed goes to the reversing light switch, also to the inhibitor switch. Then from inhibitor to gear stick, back out of gearstick to solenoid. Out of solenoid on a loop black wire to a bolt on OD to provide the earth.
  23. I get the impression that there are lots of shysters in the offsetting business.
  24. Pete who used to frequent theTSSC NL meets used to have a rack he would fit to his GT6 onto which he would attach a full sized 6-man frame tent. Was about same size as the GT6 cabin. Looked like a snail. 🙂
