mowerman
Can anyone shed any light on these wheels on this Vitesse? I think they look really good with the lowered suspension and are possibly MK3 Spit wheels? Thanks
thescrapman
They are 5.5J GT6 pattern (oval hole) wheels.Usually about £100 a set on Ebay, but you can catch a set for much less sometimes.Sought after for most Spitfires/Vitesses/GT6's etc ......CheersColin
Tim Bancroft
Made by Dunlop and very nice. Also featured on early Formula Ford cars as the front suspension on these cars as they use the Herald upright, therefore the PCD was the same. Many traders knock them out as well- be preppared to pay more though from these sources.Might be an idea to use Weller holed 5.5J steels as similar in design but £45ish a wheel new. Richard B
@ £450 a pair I would expect them to be Gold-Plated.

Deleted User
He also says that they're a great alternative to the heavier modern alloy wheels... it may just be me but I thought alloy's were usually lighter than steels.Even if they are actually new (rather than recon) I can't see them being worth more than any other wheels of the same kind, so I recon he'd get £50 max for them, maybe a bit more as they're apparently 'new'.
