Nick Jackson (2)
Does anyone have a spare one of these 'swan neck' fuel pipes? It sits between the fuel filler and the tank. While trying to replace a hose I managed to break off the small pipe that accepts the fuel return line. CW doesn't have them and so far no luck with used sources either. Nick Jones
There was a mk 2 PI in a scrapyard in Bridgwater, which still had the tank in it last time I saw it. Hamp Car Spares IIRC.I'd say the broken part is fixable in minutes by a skilled gas or TIG welder. Probably not with MIG though.Nick
James
You can rig something up with a simple T shaped nylon hose joiner — I have a similar set up on my saloon.
Richard B
Some one with oxy-acetalyne or propane should be able to braze a repair there.
nang
Come for a holiday in New Zealand, I'll weld it up in 5 minutes.Honestly, there must be someone close to you with a gas plant.Tony(woot)

JohnD
Cut off the ragged ends, use a piece of moderd fuel resistant tubing and two small hose clips.Job done.John
DJB_Harvey
I might have one of those ... But won't be able to check my stores until Monday .
piman
Hello John, the stub is too short to repair it with a bit of hose in my view, I wouldn't rely on it staying petrol tight, it's just not worth the risk. It needs the stub cut off flush, then redrill to the small pipe diameter and braze the pipe back in, ten minutes or so of a job.Alec
Nick Jackson (2)
I'm down in North Dorset. I think I'll ask around this weekend and see if someone can braze it, but I'm interested in a used replacement if one exists.Nick
mikew
I think its the same as a Stag one - have you tried people like Les Clarke, and other Stag breakers ?
