yorkshire_spam
Despite our troubles on Sunday, another great event. I still think it's the best over-all event on the CT calendar. Great to see familiar faces as well as those new to the event. Once again many thanks to @reychris, @Velocita Rosso and @Mik for such a well organised event. Hopefully some of the great photos on social media will find their way onto the forum.

Amy Wade
It looks like you had a good time, such a shame I couldn't get Ellie the Spitfire ready in time. I'm looking forward to joining you next year.
reychris
Thanks to all who joined in, the great feedback from you all makes all the organisation worthwhile! I’ve had a Gallery folder created on this Club Triumph site so you can all upload any photos you’d like to share. Forum-Gallery-click on folder icon and you’ll see the Border Raiders. Click on that and the 2023 folder is there. and now on to 2024….😅

yorkshire_spam
Just now, reychris said: 😂Thanks Sam, I knew I should have asked an IT expert first! Just been looking back at photos of previous years, 2015 was our first in the Spitfire (engine failure on day 2) then missed a couple, did 2018 and 2019 with the kids in the Dolomite. Then 2021 was the first successful run in the Spitfire. Last year, back in the Dolomite and this year a partially successful run for the Spitfire. Kevin R
Lawless Clans If you have one of the following surnames in your family lineage you may well be descended from a Border Reiver: Armstrong; Beattie, Bell and Burn. Carr, Charlton, Collingwood. Cranston and Crozier. Dacre, Davison, Dixon, Douglas and Dodd. Elliot, Fenwick and Forster. Graham, Gray and Grey. Hall, Hedley and Heron. Laidlawand Little. Middlemass, Milburn and Moffat. Nixon and Noble. Ogle and Oliver. Potts and Pringle. Reed, Ridleyand Robson. Routledge, Rowell and Rutherford. Scott, Shaftoe, Stokoe and Storey. Tait and Thompson. Trotterand Turnbull, Widdrington, Yarrow and Young. The above are just some of the surnames, many of which are still common throughout North East England and the Scottish Borders, that were associated with Border Reiving in times gone by. I copied this off the Website - Is your surname on the list ? Mr Charlton definitely has questions to answer as do we - our surname is Robson !
yorkshire_spam
Although it's about a classic truck, not a car I think this fits the bill nicely as an event theme song:

Here's a link! https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/gallery/category/36-2023/ Please everyone, upload your photos here, even if you already shared them on WhatsUp/Facebok/InstaTwit or wherever else. It's really helpful to have them all in one place. I'll be raiding the gallery to illustrate the book for 2024. 1
