Now you see why I think Cadwell is about my favourite circuit. Pity I spent more time fixing the car than actually driving it (and it's still misfiring). Got me home though. I enjoyed some of the track time I did get. Great day out.

Good to see you all again, had a great day.

Thanks to Mr Langrick, Michael Helm and ELLIS for letting me sit as a passenger in their cars I had a great time ;D and they weren't fannying around either.

Just looking at some photos my mate took (if I can figure out how to post them I will).
What a fantastic track and well worth the marathon to get there.
Apart from a top end mis-fire the GT6 behaved well. Right up to the point when the
gear stick broke.
Thanks guys for the tent pole and jubilee clips, which swapped ratios for the four and a half hour journey home.
Roll on Castle Combe.
Notes to Fred i) Thanks for another great day.
ii) If you're going to spin, don't do it where photographers stand.

Most of you feature (coming past me :-) :

4.40 : Paul, Keith and Dave Picton come past
5.58 : Wayward TR6
7.00 : Tom
7.35 : My only overtake of the day :-(
8.18 : Tim
9.00 : Tom sawing away at the throttle.

Part 2 to follow ...

Yeah, the red TR6 with bumpers receives my 'plonker of the day award'.
Not a great driver but found he could overtake anyone, as long as he waited
'til after the chequered flag !
Nice video Russell, great to have a reminder.

Thanks for the comments all, here's Part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWeXQ5BNYWo

0:50 : Passed by James in the electric drill
2:18 : Keith breaks his gear-stick
3:18 : Mik
4:00 : Attempting to chase Ellis
5:50 : Light blue GT6
7:37 : That Elise comes past like I'm standing still!

Shame you-tube compresses the footage so much. The original is really clear!

You couldn't even keep up with a big wallowy old saloon, I'm really disappointed, you really weren't trying!

Erm, yes, ahem, well it was the afternoon, so it must have been that lunchtime Cadwell chicken pie stodge weighing me down.

This videoing malarky gives too much away ...  :)

Indeed it does; but, it's great to review after the event, so you can pick out where improvements can be made.
As for everyone going past you... Who cares ?... as long as you're having fun; that's all that matters  ;D
