Raider
We started on the RBRR so yes, I think "permission granted" would be correct :)

It's now home and sat in the garage sulking because I said many rude words to it.
Ellis
I looked under the Bus today and found the underside of the car was completely covered in oil (obviously where some of the 3 gallons went)... At this point I had an idea - I've drained the oil and filled up with underseal to save me a messy job... I'll let you know how I get on. ;)

Tim Bancroft
The grey car could go tomorrow. However I hope to Pi her, re-new the diff nose piece, re-bush the rear suspension and fit my Witor head- gotta be good for a bit more power! Also hoping that McJim will be my co-driver- no Scottish flags though! Deleted User
Quote:Also hoping that McJim will be my co-driver- no Scottish flags though!Sounds the business, Tim.But why no Scottish flags?I've got a massive Saltire that needs to be waved about a bit so that everyone can get a good look at it!By the way, did I tell you about the countries that I've been deported from and told not to come back to?There's Holland - bunch of tulips, the lot of them, nice Vlaai though. Italy - well Berlesconi got a tad tetchy when I sat on the wing of his Ferrari - it's only a pimped up Fiat, after all! Belgium - load of rubbish chocolate makers. I've yet to meet the Belgian that could measure up to a Curly Wurly! (With thanks to Elaine C Smith)Then there were the incidents in Germany and Austria - I thought they'd find my John Cleese, Fawlty Towers impression hilarious - touchy lot!And technically not allowed back into Monaco. Showing what a Scotsman wears under his kilt at the Casino didn't go down too well. It was only a skean dhu for goodness sake! A very long one, mind you, but it was still no excuse for all those women fainting!Got plenty of time for the French though. They really helped me when I got thrown out of the last country - ENGLAND! What a humourless lot you all are.It was only a piece of turf! And no! You can't have your goal posts back either! :PScots wha hae, where Wallace bled .........McJim. Tim Bancroft
God dammed Jock!I will be taking my kennel tent- simple reason for this being after spending time in the car with you, I will be so sick and tired of your peculiar Scottish brogue that I will need some peace and quiet. Also I will burn your tent if its festooned in Scottish flags! Also don't bring the shovel- no European turf will be going home with us and there is def. no space for a case or two of Tenants Extra in the boot of the grey thing!Any problems with you and we are off to Derby!Yours, a humourless Southener! Deleted User
GTRoger surprised me from behind at the Conon Bridge Hotel! :oLet me rephrase that.GTRoger came up behind me and surprised me by opening what looked like a pizza delivery box with slices of pie in it."Would you like some pie?" says he.Me, not wishing to cause offence by refusing and taking the risk of the "Limburger Lurgy" by eating some dodgy Dutch pie that has been slowly reheated in a white GT6 for the last few days, tucked in and discovered that it tasted quite similar to something I'd tasted before."Just as I thought!" says I, "This is a copy of an old Scottish recipe!"So, now I am hopelessly addicted to Vlaai and will be shortly rolling up one trouser leg, wearing clogs on my feet and have a bright red tulip stuffed where a bright red tulip should never be stuffed to show the dedication that I am prepared to offer to become a member of Team Vlaai.I don't think that I can wait till next June - I must have my fix now!So I'm off to the 24 hour Tesco to sink my teeth into some pie. What a way to live! ;DAnd if you think I'm rambling, just think what those naughty Dutch chaps have access to, that they could have put in the Vlaai.Explains a lot, I'd say. ;)McJim. So you don't throw with vlaai for instance :oQuote:to show the dedication that I am prepared to offer to become a member of Team VlaaiYou could enter the Nachtrit on the 4th of november ;D
