Royboy66
Yup! Id say Hutch managed 50mpg! ( oil that is! ;D) Although my speedo reads over by 10mph,ish the odometer is bang on according to the sat nav! so, yeah We managed around 25mpg, which I think is about ok for a 2.5 gt6(3:63 diff, d type o/drive) and a heavy right foot ;)50mpg!?? well firstly,I'd like a few gallons of that 'stuff'! and secondly!, How the F*@k did he get that??, doesnt sound like he had a whole lot of fun driving it anyway!! I Also went to clm2006, and again managed around 25mpg! but it was around 100 smiles per gallon aswell! ;D ;D. Does he have a diesel fitted? but thinks its just loose tappets!! :)Roy.( still covered in hutchs's oil mist!!) 8) ( only joking mate! ;))
glaramaraman
Is everyone confident that their odometre is accurate. My spitfire underreads by 15% and GT6 overreads by 20% - I know this as I can do accurate measured miles on rallys and configure my electronic Brantz - thus giving me some accurate local distances to calibrate against.Quoting MPG using an unreliable mileage is meaningless. Motorways have 100m posts & kilometre measurements. 8km = 5miles... so on a long run try measuring the accuracy of your odometre over 16KM - just try not to bug the lorries too much. glaramaraman
"THEN" is spelt with an E . but then I was never one to worry too much about absolute accuracy... we English 'ave as much fun with your measurements as you do with our language. ;D
