Thanks for the great comments guys!! I don't know how much it will hold yet.  It's a bit of a strange shape to try and calculate.  I will soon know because it's now fitted in the car and should have fuel in it by tomorrow. 8)  Just to let yu know Chris we calculated your tank capacity at 35 litres 8) 8) I had the guys draw this tank during it's design and construction so I will be able to make them to order. ;) More pics tomorrow

not finished yet but soon, real soon!  well maybe Monday :B  I cant believe the amount of time it takes to mock up in card, draw, mock up again in ali, measure, alter, mock up tack weld, trial fit, alter, mock up again with slight changes, measure, draw .  I'm sure you get the message!
  15. yes you do have a choice.  If you have paid with paypal and it's less than 45 days since purchase then both ebay and paypal will back you.  I think the seller will offer you a refund or replacement as it's not worth  getting in trouble with ebay.  Ebay are always on the side of the purchaser if within the 45days.  If you get no reply from the seller just report to ebay and they will handle it.

With the RBRR steaming upon me I have decided to make a new fuel tank for the GT6 so that i can incorporate the fuel pump inside the tank.  First pic is the cardboard template, 2nd and 3rd pic is the ali template tack welded together.  More pics to follow later today once I have punched the 3rd prototype.
  18. My original spring has an aluminium tag on the clamp nut with "FRONT" stamped into it
  19. mine were gifted to me and as long as they are set correctly shouldn't dazzle too much.  We will soon find out how many other drivers I can kill in 2000miles :)
  20. dont care!!  they are as bright as the surface of the sun and i like them!!  no such thing as a switched on traffic cop!
  21. I would always use a good quality fuel regulator with most electric pumps as most produce 4 or 5psi which is too much for SU's
  22. 6000k HID's draw 35w total when running along with 20,000 volts.  They need 30,000 volts to arc up when you turn them on.  Always start the engine BEFORE switching on the lights.  The single dip beam kits do not use a relay but the hi/low kit with the solonoid activated main beam does use a relay that is pre-wired in the wiring loom of the kit.  I have just fitted a set to my GT6 and they are fantastic!!  I think i need to have the dip beam level raised but its due an MOT now so will get them to check the beam pattern then. Hope you have sorted it Roy 8)  That wouldn't be that dodgy earth on the drivers side bonnet would it??????? :P :P
