  1. The Estate looks good. Be interesting to see how it goes with the Pi engine.
  2. Siilar problem with the one I bought for my mk1 Saloon 15 or so years ago....its made by the company that rises from the ashes...think most are....
  3. Hi CT Members, One or two withdrawals are starting to come through, so if interested in taking part, join the Reservists list and one can be fairly confident about getting a place. Tim
  4. I did not move quickly enough, sad to have missed out. Here is hoping that you have a fun and dry day.
  5. Could'nt find that on their site. Thanks Clive.
  6. I'd be interested to know where to buy a new 3.63 c and p?
  7. TR Register website would be a good place to let people/enthusiasts know. Smart car. https://www.tr-register.co.uk/ Be nice if bought by a Triumph enthusiast.
  8. Getting a bit rare these days. Try Mike Papworth 07768 775 170
  9. Mark Field sells them for £168 a pair plus they need bushes...say £180. Seems a lot to spend when one can buy say 4 shims for £14 plus vat and postage.
  10. Mr Fern is well practised at the art that Sam has mentioned. Sort of hoping that Pete's car is one colour....doubtful I think!
  11. Amy, Before going there, do ring them and ask them if they can do a car with 13'' wheels. Many alignment places struggle nowadays with small wheels. Tell them it's a Spitfire. You may need to take some shims with you as I doubt an alignment place will have them. For the rear, you will need part no. 133070. Moss sell them at £3.50/no. These are used to adjust toe in and toe out. For the front you will need part no. 122022. Moss sell them at £3.24/no. These are used to adjust camber and castor. Sorry to complicate.
  12. Allan, Just going through them all now, will be in contact. Tim
  13. Hi Mervyn, That is very kind of you to offer about Lands End, that would be great. Times to be advised at the moment, but approx 07.00hrs Tim
  14. MIke, Would you be ok to do Kinross on the Friday night Saturday morning and Gartcosh on the Saturday late afternoon? Tim
  15. One of these? I think it will foul on the Vitesse suspension turret
  16. Tim, Great, should be a good watch. Still working my way through 'Bangers and Cash', so this will be next!
  17. I fitted LED bulbs to my TR6, ended up having to make separate earth leads for each holder.
  18. Martin, I would think the original Stag seats are a better seat than the TR6. I replaced the TR6 seats in my 6 as I found the squabs to be too short and I was getting cramp, replaced with MX5 mk2 seats (Sep headrest type). I would look around and do as suggested by Bruce, or re-build your existing Stag jobbies. Good luck.
  19. Dom, Another good looking car that will grace the RBRR. Good luck with the proposed engine work.
  20. Its still the TR7 that others should be measured against...a marvellous car. Still looking like a proper car...its the details that matter.
  21. Jimbo, a big jumper would engulf me...anyway, I would rather not look like a heathen from across the border..... Surprised you don't wear Harris tweed!
  22. No pics at the moment of my TR6, but the only job is to get the hardtop painted and fitted and she will be RBRR ready.
