Anthony
Have the rear diff bushes got a metal outer sleeve?I'm burning mine out at the moment, and there looks to be a metal sleeve around them?I can't tell if this is part of the bush, or part of the diff housing
Nick Jones
Yes, there is a sleeve. After burning out the rubber, judicious use of hacksaw, chisel and hammer will sort it......Nick
CharlieB
Yes, got mine out by carefully cutting a slot with a hacksaw then attacking with a big screwdriver.

Rubce
I removed them last month by the use of a pair of sockets, a long bolt, a few washers and a nut. The smaller socket of a slightly smaller outside diameter to the bush is drawn into the casing by tightening the bolt and nut. As the bush is drawn out it is moved into the large socket located on the other side of the lug. Works a treat and zero mess unlike the burning method.RegardsBruce
Nick Jones
You got lucky - usually they just ignore you when you try it that way.....Nick
