roger saunt
Alot of the earlier entrants drop out before the start anyway ,So with abit of luck and a donation to the charity concerned you might get the number you want, a big might!!!
Nick Jackson (2)
When do we find out what the charity is then? I think helping one of the smaller charities is a really good policy. Are we doing the same for the next run?
Tim Bancroft
Eh No.I am meeting next year' Charity next week and will announce them in the next edition of Sec's Notes. They are a large and very well established charity and of course totally deserved of a large sum of money!
Andy Flexney
to come back to the entry numbers....I think to be fair to our "overseas" entrants we should keep one or two numbers available for them for the first couple of weeks after the announcement. Afterall they are at a disadvantage because they get their magazine later and the post takes longer.I am not only thinking of our firends in The Netherlands but I have also heard there could be one or two entries coming from new members in Germany. But of course this is at the discretion of our entries officer.AndyF
Jason
The only way to do this is as it's always been done, using the witchcraft, sorry - the Post Office :-) The order is decided on how I open them once they've dropped through the door! If I can come up with a way to make some money for the charity and auction the special numbers then I will, just maybe not this time!
Nick Jackson (2)
So when is the November magazine due to be posted out? I've got my cheque ready and envelope written, so I just need the form to enter!
Tim Bancroft
Magazine is published on 15/11/07, be with you approx 16 or 17 Nov.Remember to send completed entries to Jason.Nick: Will you use the GT6?
Nick Jackson (2)
I'll enter the PI for now as the GT6 is still stripped down. If I can afford the welding, spraying and mechanical spruce up I'd love to run the GT6 instead. One part of me though says that I should prove the PI can do it, as it broke down last year.
