Ridgetone Triumph
Does any body know how I can get in touch with the guy who makes the special Triumph models using the Vanguard 1:43. :-/I think he has made some 2000 estates and other types of Triumphs that are not available by Vanguard/Corgi? Gave my biceps a good work out though!!I've got a Spit quick rack in my saloon - I think my arms would have been on fire by the end of the day! My best run - the final one - was scuppered by brain fade on one of the final cones - so annoyed with myself.

All of the pictures look great and it was good to see so many triumphs being used and abused! Would have been nice to use my car but the sprint was brilliant! Thanks again Chrishi bro, fancy seeing you on here. I was looking though and I saw this avitar picture of a red sprint with lower lamps, just like mine. I then relised it was my car. We must get your spitfire finished so we have two cars in the family to thrash. Very glad you enjoyed yourself, Was a good day just a pitty you kept going the wrong way as your times were quite quick. We will

We will yeah thought you might like that, mine isnt really in avitar picture condition, and it does look pretty damm good in my hands!! The whole remembering the course thing scuppered me. Should have walked around it a few more times with my imaginary steering wheel. Took my carbs apart last night and they are all ready for rebuilding. In good condition considering the state they were in.
Lord Sorbington
Dare I suggest that power steering would be a huge advantage if using one's big saloon on an event such as this. Quicker gearing, reduced steering effort etc. etc...................

steve_1360
It was a great day out, thanks again to all the organisers & timing marshalls. It was good to meet everybody and i must thank Clive for the gound sheet he covered my stuff in to stop it all getting wet.It really was an eye opener seeing the differences in the small chassis triumph real suspension setup. It made it easier in the wet when i could get the rear end out on the herald. Can't wait till the next one, may have to have a go at an autotest now. 8)CheersSteve
