Chambers Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Just about all the back half of my car is off and whilst I'm at it Im going to take the diff off to give it a good going over. Ive looked in the Haynes and it says that you have to reomve the spring acess panel which is behind the centre of the front seats. Now some bright spark in their wisdom has glued down my rear carpet so before I go ripping it up is it under here (behind the seats) or is it infact in the boot? Of course there is the third secret option, under the tank?If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great
Gt6s Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Under and part of it foward of the tank, asuming Spitfire.
Alex Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Its under the rear trim panel below the tank(from inside the car).
heraldcoupe Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Looking back from the drivers seat:Cheers,Bill.

heraldcoupe Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 My daily-driver (not a Triumph)is LHD, and I default to thinking the left is drivers side. Gets confusing sometimes....Cheers,Bill.
smithy Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Know what you mean. After coming back home from foreign parts I often used to get in the car and wonder where the steering wheel went. Didn't look too cool either.
