Martin M
Hi, just trial fitted the Vitesse alloy bumpers on the front valance which was from a Herald 1360 (strips removed). the fitment at the Corners is very poor. Normal?Does someone have some pics from the bumpers. Preferrably at the coners?ThanksMartin
Clive
On the vitesse there should be a littkle bracket to support the ends of the alloy pieces. So it looks like the fit is poor, but it is OK. On my vitesse I never had the brackets.....
Nick Jones
There are meant to be brackets........? News to me....... Yes, the fit at the ends looks ok from above but there is a gap when seen from lower down. Mine is a modified 13/60 valance as tinworm ate the Vitesse one.Nick
Clive
Unless I was dreaming...I am sure the original Vitesse front valence had a little box bracket thing. Maybe I am loosing my marbles....
Nick Jones
You could well be right - my original valance was too far gone even to have ends and the current one is of 13/60 origin.......Nick
Steve P
Yes there should be box brackets to fill the space between the valance and the alloy bumper,i`ve never seen any though,i just use cylindrical spacers on mine.Steve

Einar
No bracket, no gap – fits very well. Vitesse 6 and I don’t know whether the valance has been changed/modified.

Martin M
Thanks to all especially for the pics. I think I will weld in a bracket there to support the bumper.Martin
Pete Lewis
As wild idea, I tried to shorten the bumper to improve the fit when brackets had disintegrated , to close the protuding corner up against he valence Looks like it should work.......it doesntstick with the spaced or a bracket
