mpbarrett
I see in the current Club Torque mag there was a mention of increasing the entry to the 10CR to >50, any news about this?Could make a big difference to the shopping list I take to Stoneleigh in Feb, everytime I drive the Herald I think of more jobs that really should be done if we take it on the 10CR......thanksmike(entry No 55 with daughter who wants to put in a boom box in boot and big bore exhaust and pink alloys.....) SteveJP
I wonder how many of us 10CR entrants are going to Stoneleigh with a shopping list! My list seems to be getting longer by the day! Should I take a spare second hand alternator, hoses, points, plugs, etc etc, or just follow the Dave Pearson theory of 'just take the AA Card!'??? Deleted User
Quoted from 76Spit I follow the Dave Pearson theory of 'just take the AA Card!'???That cost me an extra 80 quid (European cover for the weekend, car over 20 years old). Best 80 quid I ever spent! Mind if I'd taken a halfshaft I could have fixed it on the side of that mountain in an thrice.
SteveJP
So now I've got to add a halfshaft to my list? - who's got a trailer for a Spitfire????
Deleted User
what would be cool if some had say a 2000 estate and they found one that was pretty rotten but the backend wasnt too bad and chop the back off seal it up and turn it into a trailer, or even more crazy long enough to fit a bed it, that would be the coolest bed in the world! could do it with a spit rear end i guess too. would love to see that...... Deleted User
that would look kick ass. if you chopped it say at the roof at the windscreen and paneled the gap up, plus stick a window in so you can see see out of your rear view mirror.... that would HAVE to be the best looking trailer EVER! Ellis
Hi all, not at the moment I'm afraid... we're waiting on answers from the hotels/campsite in Italy to confirm they can cope with the extra numbers. As it's closed season, we're having trouble making contact. I'm sure it will be OK, but rest assured as soon as I have news, it will be on here. ;)
thescrapman
I would have thought No. 55 would have a reasonable chance of getting to go, so start shopping Mike!!!What number are you Ben???I would suggest getting your name of the 'emergency Co-Driver ' list as well.CheersColin
Caroline
Until the car is up and running committing to the event seemed pointless to me. I didn't realise how many other like-minded-mad people there were who also want to do the event!! How big is the reserve list? A McGrath has always been on the 10CR so we can't not go this year.... GigGleR
Quoted from Jony5 what would be cool if some had say a 2000 estate and they found one that was pretty rotten but even more crazy long enough to fit a bed itInteresting, we were planning to knock the back seats down in my 2000 estate , stack our supplies on only on side of the car and then have a sleeping bag on the other so we could have a kip ;D although I have to say I haven't checked for length yet ;)
Ben Hutchings
Colin: I'm number nothing... I'm in limbo, not on the list yet, although the forms have been sent. I guess theres no point Ellis putting names on the list if they aren't guaranteed a place.

Jason
I see there have been a few withdrawals of some well known drovers - Greeks, Dangerous Dandridge, Raider, etc - an ideal opportunity for newbies to get stuck in and have a go.
