Entry level is now at 35no.

As part of inter club relations we are about to send invites to a number of local Motor Clubs, this will mean that spaces will start to go quickly. We have given CT members a 2 week advantage. The invites will be sent out tomorrow.

Apart from making sure evrything is working properly does anything special need to be done to the car? Mines still got its original non-laminated windscreen for instance.

Just make sure the car is road-worthy and the battery is securly fixed down.

Maybe tape over the battery terminals as well.

Is is all pretty car friendly, so nothing major needs doing.

I would say the remaining spaces will go quickly. Should you wish to take part, do contact me before sending an entry in.

Must say I have been surprised at the way it seems to be the same CT members from last time who have entered the event. Surprised, as so many who took part last time stated that they had a great time, this was reported in 'Club Torque' and I thought that more members would read this and might wish to have a go at this discipline.

Best aspect is that one is competing against friends in the Club and the opportunity for banter and 'wind up' is massive!

Just wanted to say hi (dance) I'm new to the forum, but I'm signed up to enter the autosolo for next month, which incidentally will also me my first autosolo.

Looking forward to seeing plenty of Triumphs being driven in the manner they deserve!  8)

On a reflective note - I've been a CT member for 13 years and I know very well we would never have had that number  of entrants back then. Heck there wouldn't have been an event.

yep it's certainly true that the club has moved forward in a very positive manner and certainly is good to see so many people having fun in their triumphs...i had a wee bit of fun doing a nav scatter yesterday in the herald ..left a bit of rubber here and there and burnt up a merc in the process 8)
