Re torqued the head, and identified why 2 tappets had been hard to get right, the case hardening had been compromised. So a couple of hours were spent trying to replace them. Why is nothing ever quick. Why I was doing that, Chris my co-driver and Dave Maton swapped the front wheels, swapped the rear springs, and swapped the front seats.Just last few tools and spares to pack, then sticker the car up. Steve28 Posted October 2, 2014 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Just about finished it off today, all spares and tools loaded and been out to brim the tank.only things left to do are rain x the windscreen, check tyre pressure's and load up the back seat with all the home made buns, snacks and drinks. :)meeting up with Colin Radford at 11am destination enfield. A big thank you to David Walker for breaking off from his own wiring marathon to sort this out! Just got back and now have the fan working off a proper ignition feed and automatically cutting in with the temperature sensor connected properly. Result!!
